PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) were commissioned to undertake this research project to understand how the education system can improve the attendance at post-primary school of Looked After Children. The objectives of the research were to establish the underlying causes of and influences on non-attendance; identify and review research into any association between non-attendance at school and underachievement; collate and disseminate information on effective approaches and actions to improve attendance among this group.
Research into the Nature and Extent of Pupil Bullying in Schools in the North of Ireland (RB 2/2011 PDF 389KB)
The aim of the research was to identify the nature and extent of bullying in schools, including through the abuse of technology, with particular emphasis on changes and trends since the previous studies, published in 2007 and 2002.
