Efficiency Delivery Plan  2008 – 2011

The Executive agreed that Departments should deliver cumulative cash releasing efficiency savings of 3% a year over the period 2008-09 to 2010-11.  The overall efficiency targets for the Department of Education are £63.2 million in 2008-09, £124.5 million in 2009-10 and £184.0 million in 2010-11.  These savings will be achieved through a range of measures as outlined in the attached Efficiency Delivery Plan summary.
