Shaping the Future of Primary Education

The "Shaping the Future of Primary Education" conference for primary school principals took place on Thursday 24 May 2007 at the City Hotel, Armagh.

The focus of the conference was preparing for the introduction of the revised curriculum in primary schools from September 2007. The programme covered the strategic issues facing primary schools and the support that would continue to be provided to them. The guest speakers included the Education Minister, Caitriona Ruane, Professor John West -Burnham, the Chief Inspector and senior officials from DE and the Partnership Management Board(PMB), who each gave a presentation to delegates.
