Department of Education Disability Action Plan

Under Section 49B of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 the Department of Education is required to submit a Disability Action Plan to the Equality Comissiion showing how it propposes to fulfil its statutory Duties to:

• Promote Positive Attitudes towards people with disabilities; and
• Encourage participation by people with disabilities in public life (the disability duties)
