Extended schools funding (CYP) 2006/07

The schools attached will be offered the opportunity to draw down funding for extended schools.

The schools have been selected on the following basis:-

• Post-primary schools – with 51 percent or more of their pupils drawn from a Neighbourhood Renewal Area or from the 30 percent most deprived wards

• Nursery, Primary or Special Schools – located in a Neighbourhood Renewal Area or from the 30 percent most deprived wards

• All Schools – with a free school meal entitlement of 37 percent or more and not selected as above.

The list shows each school’s basic funding level.  If a school joins with other schools in its area to form a cluster, they will be entitled to an increase of 15 percent in their funding level.
