The report of the Byron Review 'Safer Children in a Digital World' was launched on 27 March 2008.
The report presents a comprehensive package of measures to help children and young people make the most of the Internet and video games, while protecting them from harmful or inappropriate material. The report follows an independent review undertaken in September 2007 and led by Dr Tanya Byron.

The Thinkuknow Cybercafé for Key Stage 2 pupils has been developed by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), alongside Becta and the Internet Proficiency Group. It aims to develop a set of safe and discriminating behaviours for pupils to adopt when using the internet and other technologies.
