Common Funding Legislation

This section contains information on the legislative basis for Common Funding.

The Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 sets out the legislative framework for the development and implementation of the Common Funding Scheme.

The Education and Libraries (2003 Order) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005 - brought the Common Funding Scheme into effect from April 2005.
