Common Funding Formula/Scheme - Consultations
This section contains information on the previous consultations, and the current consultation on the proposed introduction of two new factors within the current Common Funding Formula as well as proposed changes to the current operation of existing factors within the formula.
These consultations are detailed as follows:-
- A consultation exercise with schools on proposals for the introduction of two new factors within the current Common Funding Formula as well as proposed changes to the operation of existing factors to be applied with effect from April 2009.
Previous Consultations
- A comprehensive consultation exercise on the principles, rationale and initial proposals for a Common Funding Formula for all grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland;
- A consultation exercise with schools on the factors that might make up the initial Common Funding Scheme to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2005; and
- A consultation exercise with schools on proposed changes to the operation of certain factors within the current Common Funding Formula to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2007.
- A consultation exercise with schools on a possible change to the operation of a factor within the current Common Funding Formula to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2008.
