This section contains information on the previous consultations.

These consultations are detailed as follows:-

• April 2001 Consultation (Ended)  

  A comprehensive consultation exercise on the principles, rationale and initial proposals for a Common Funding Formula for all grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland;

• Autumn 2004 Consultation (Ended)  

  A consultation exercise with schools on the factors that might make up the initial Common Funding Scheme to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2005;

• Autumn 2006 Consultation (Ended)  

  A consultation exercise with schools on proposed changes to the operation of certain factors within the current Common Funding Formula to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2007;

• Autumn 2007 Consultation (Ended)  

  A consultation exercise with schools on a proposed change to the operation of a factor within the current Common Funding Formula to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2008; and

• Autumn 2008 Consultation (Ended)  

  A consultation exercise with schools on proposals for the introduction of two new factors within the current Common Funding Formula. As well as a proposed change to the operation of a factor within the current Common Funding Formula to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2009.

• January 2010 Consultation (Ended)  

  A consultation exercise with schools on proposed changes to the operation of existing factors within the Common Funding Formula to be applied for all schools with effect from April 2010.
