The Common Funding Scheme

Under the provisions of the Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 2003, a Common Funding Scheme (Scheme) has been drawn up to apply to all schools funded under the Local Management of Schools (LMS) arrangements.

This replaces the previous LMS Schemes operated by Education and Library Boards and the Department and applies to the provisions and application of Common Funding for all grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland covered by the Scheme from April 2005.
