Education & Library Boards Recurrent Allocations 2012-13

Following an announcement by the Minister for Education, John O’Dowd, on 15th May 2012, the following budget allocations for 2012/13 have been confirmed to Education and Library Boards.

Budgets for each Education and Library Board are detailed in the table below:

Notes

  1. These budgets do not include funding delegated to schools under the Local Management of Schools (LMS) arrangement, any additional earmarked funding provided for specific initiatives or funding for Youth or Capital expenditure.
  2. These budgets are for centrally funded services including special educational needs; school transport as well as headquarter costs, and are net of savings requirements in accordance with the Department of Education’s Savings Delivery Plan.
  3. Maintenance costs are not included in the above budgets as this budget has now been ring-fenced to allow for early commissioning of work in this area and to address the maintenance backlog in the schools estate.
