Literacy and Numeracy Taskforce

The Literacy and Numeracy Taskforce was established in February 2008 until June 2011. It was set up in response to the reports on standards of literacy and numeracy from the NI Audit Office and the Public Accounts Committee.

The Taskforce’s role was to advise on the development of the Department's revised Literacy and Numeracy Strategy (Count, read: succeed) and to make recommendations on the implementation and evaluation of the strategy.
