School leavers

The following statistical releases contain information on the qualifications and destinations of Northern Ireland school leavers. The tables relate to the destination (eg higher education/further education/employment) and highest level of qualification obtained for grammar and non-grammar school leavers, by sex of pupil and management type.

The originally published version of 23 June 2005 has been revised to correct for the omission of data on three schools. The effect of the revision is to increase the total number of school leavers by 411. The magnitude of changes to the percentage figures in the tables is very small.
