Participation Rates

The Department of Education issues an annual statistical release, in conjunction with the Department of Employment and Learning, in relation to participation in full time education and training by 16 and 17 year olds.  

These statistical releases show information on 16 and 17 year olds in full time education or training, whether at school or in Further Education . Comparative figures for England are also shown.
