| 2012/19 | Disclosure and Barring Arrangements: Changes to pre employment vetting checks for volunteers working in schools from 10 Sepetmber 2012 (PDF 87 KB) This circular advises schools and employing authorities of the effect of changes to the definition of Regulated Activity in schools and the repeal of Controlled Activity, introduced from 10 September 2012 by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012. It also emphasises that pre-employment vetting checks remain a key element of the recruitment process for staff working in schools. |
