  • There was a decrease of 0.9% on the 2008 results at grade A, an increase of 0.2% at grades A-C and an increase 0.2% at grades A-E in the north of Ireland.  This compares to increases of 0.8% at grade A, 1.2% at grades A-C and 0.3% at grades A-E in England, Wales and the north of Ireland collectively.
  • The north of Ireland remains ahead of the figures for England, Wales and the north of Ireland collectively,  by 7.8% at grade A, 9.5% at grades A-C and 0.9% at grades A-E.

  • There was an increase of 1.2% on the 2008 results at grade A, a 0.8% increase at grades A-C and a 0.2% decrease at grades A-E in the north of Ireland.  This compares to an increase of 0.8% at grade A, an increase of 0.2% at grades A-C and a decrease of 0.1% at grades A-E in England, Wales and the north of Ireland collectively.
  • The north of Ireland remains ahead of the figures for England, Wales and the north of Ireland collectively, by 14.8% at grade A, 19.5% at grades A-C and 6.9% at grades A-E.
