- 9.3% of entries in the north of Ireland were awarded the A* grade. This compares to 8.1% for the north of Ireland, England and Wales collectively.
- The north of Ireland remains ahead of the figures for England, Wales and the north of Ireland collectively, by 8.7 percent at grade A*-A, 9.1 percent at grades A*-C and 0.5 percent at grades A*-E.
