Learning and playing with other children in a safe, stimulating and structured environment will help your child’s development, giving them a head start when they begin school.
All children are entitled to one year free education, in the year prior to starting school. Free early education places are available at a range of early years settings, including nursery schools and playgroups.

Sure Start offers support to parents from the first stages of pregnancy. Sure Start gives children under four, from the most disadvantaged areas, the best possible start in life.
