I do not speak much English or Irish

There are a lot of children in schools here who, like you, do not speak the same language as the teacher.

The Department works closely with the Inclusion and Diversity Service (IDS) to provide help to both teachers and pupils, so you can take part in the lessons and get to learn the same language as the teacher.  

The IDS also has some notes translated into different languages for your parents.
