Building Handbook Section 3 - Primary schools.
Section 3 of the School Building Handbook (first published in August 1992) has been revised and provides advice and guidance on the planning and design of new Primary School buildings and the standard to which they should conform. The current printed version of the Building Handbook (Section 3a) found below should be used in conjunction with the appropriate revised schedule of accommodation (Section 3b).
