The Department has issued a list names the 50 successful schools who applied to the School Enhancement Programme.  You may view this using the link below:

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 10 MAY 2013

In a statement to the assembly by the Minister of Education on 22 January 2013 a new Schools Enhancement Programme was announced.

The original deadline for the submission of applications was Friday 12 April 2013, in light of representations made to the Department, the Minister has agreed to extend the deadline for the return of applications by four weeks to Friday 10 May 2013.

Please note that completed application forms must now be returned to reach the Department by 10 May 2013.

Applications already received do not need re-submitted, however, if a school authority considers it wishes to withdraw and re-submit given this additional time, the Department will be happy to facilitate.

Projects supported under the Schools Enhancement Programme are subject  to securing the necessary approvals and clearances needed.

All projects supported must be consistent with and supportive of the area planning work currently being undertaken.
