Ministerial Advisory Group on Advancing Shared Education
On 19 July the Minister of Education announced the establishment of a Ministerial Advisory Group on Advancing Shared Education.
The Group is independent of the Department of Education and is based at Queen's University of Belfast's School of Education.
The Advisory Group is chaired by Professor Paul Connolly (QUB) who together with the other members: Dawn Purvis and PJ O’Grady will report their findings to the Minister by February 2013.
The Advisory Group launched its consultation on the future of shared education in this jurisdiction on 15 October and this will last until 9 November 2012.
Parents, pupils and anyone else with an interest in the future of education can have their say on the issue by submitting their views to the group.
