School Holidays 2012/13
Fixed school term dates for pupils in Northern Ireland are:
- Schools start back after summer holidays on 3 September 2012
- Halloween 31 October – 1 November 2012
- Christmas/New Year 24 December 2012 – 1 January 2013 (inclusive)
- Mid-term 18 – 19 February 2013
- St Patrick’s Day 18 March 2013 *
- Easter 28 March – 5 April 2013
- May Day 6 May 2013
- Second May Bank Holiday 27 May 2013
- Summer Holiday begins 1 July 2013
* Not all schools close on St Patrick's Day.
Schools also have the discretion to close for 5 Optional Days which are likely to differ from school to school. Schools may also close for School Development Days of which 5 are available from 2010/11 to 2014/15.

- Summer Holiday begins 1 July 2014
